Frank Perlmutter, CBCP, is the founder and President of Strategic BCP, and a nationally-renowned expert in Business Continuity Planning (BCP). He is the creator of several Business Continuity Planning tools including:
- ResilienceONE BCP Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)
- The Business Continuity Genome, a “gold standard” for reviewing business continuity plans for both compliance and resiliency
- The Statement of Impact that major insurance carriers and brokers are using to manages losses, underwrite policies, and manage client risk
Frank frequently presents to business continuity planners, facilities personnel, and risk managers from companies in various industries. His BCP education activities include keynote speaking engagements at national events such as the Disaster Preparedness Summit, where he has presented to over 4,000 participantes in 36 cities.
Frank has worked at U.S. Department of the Treasury where he managed the Continuity of Operations Planning (i.e. BCP) and a variety of risk control initiatives at agencies across the Federal Government including the Federal Reserve Bank, Financial Management Service, Department of Health and Human Services, Customs, Internal Revenue Service, Department of the Interior, Department of Education, and Department of Energy.
Frank has directed BCP, emergency management, IT, and compliance projects for over 75 clients including major health care, manufacturing, insurance, government and retail operations. Frank has also developed extensive community programs for city and country governments and non-profits to ensure continued operation in the face of any disaster.
